I've encountered www.eHarlequin.com who gives away free ebooks because its their 60th anniversary. The stories are good, and if you really want romance novel, eHarlequin.com is a site to visit. There are also sites that gives ebook links like gizmo's freeware (www.techsupportalert.com) which is reliable site that gives many links to free ebook sites. The format is usually in pdf. but you can save it as text format once you download it if you're using device that needs *.txt
